There are many ways that you can help keep pets in their homes with their loving people.
Donating is one of the very important things that help keep our programs running.
Please donate today!
Dog, cat food and supplies are always in need. By providing food, supplies and other assistance to families in need we enable their pets to stay in a loving home rather than be surrendered to a shelter to languish in small kennels and perhaps face euthanasia for no other reason than to provide room for another.
We understand that many times supporters are unable to donate money or supplies to our organization and we would like to encourage you to help out in other ways.
ARCS is staffed by volunteers, there are no paid positions in our organization so you can be sure that no donations are supplementing staffing wages. However, there are many things that need to be provided for to keep our services available to Sheboygan County residents.
Animal Resource Center of Sheboygan is located in a very old building that is need of many updates and repairs. In fact, the building we now occupy was the original Sheboygan County Pound built in the 1950's. We would see this building put to use for a much greater purpose. To do this we need your help with updates and maintenance. The building is brick construction and poorly insulated with old windows and doors. Items and skilled labor can be donated to quickly reduce operational costs and provide more resources to pets in need.
We are also in need of volunteers with a desire to lead others and make a difference in our community. We are in need of a Volunteer Coordinator and a Fundraising Coordinator. If you think you would be suited to this position please contact us.
